Grow food, knowledge and community with Grow Lewisham.

We are a collective of Lewisham residents concerned about the climate crisis and its impact on food security.

We are committed to improving access to local land, supporting learning, sharing of resources and building unity between people and planet through the practice of growing food together.

Our growing sites

  • The Plot

The Plot is Grow Lewisham’s dedicated growing space. Started in 2021, it occupies part of the council run Oldstead Road Allotment site in the southern part of the borough.

  • Lewisham Park Herbal Plot

Lewisham Park Herbal Plot was set up by a Grow Lewisham member in a disused space on his housing estate. Turning the old clothes drying area into a thriving growing space, it has become a fresh food hub and a meeting place for local residents.
